The Island Princess Fishing Boat Long Island (Open Boat Charter Boat) offers Half Day Fishing Trips daily from March through November. Fishing in season for Fluke, Flounder, Weakfish, Stripers, Bluefish, Blackfish, Sea Bass and Porgies. Three trips are offered daily at 7am and 12pm with a third evening trip at 6pm. Sailing from conveniently located Captree State Park, just minutes from the prime fishing grounds of Great South Bay and Fire Island inlet areas.

 

The Island Princess was completely rebuilt from the deck up in 2000. She offers the latest in fish finding and safety equipment. She is United States Coast Guard certified and licensed to carry up to 160 passengers. She is 65' in length with a 22' beam for more fishing comfort and stability. On the main deck there is a large heated cabin, with dinette seating, color TV and a galley. On the upper deck, in addition to Capt. Bryan's pilothouse, there is a huge sun deck for you to enjoy. The boat is meticulously clean with separate men's and women's rest rooms.

 

HISTORY

The Island Princess is family owned and operated. Captain Bryan Sorice {Owner} had worked as a captain on the IP for more than 20 years before purchasing it from his mentor, friend and neighbor Capt. Nick Manzari who fished the waters out of Captree State Park since 1973. The Island Princess has the most friendly, helpful and experienced crew at Captree to assist you, including Capt. Jimmy Higgins who has been with the Island Princess for over 15 years, and other amazing long time crew (& family) members, Cara, Sal and Kevin. 

 

Capt. Bryan's wife Melissa, daughter Sailor Paige and new son Greyson are also a great part of the love, heart and soul of the business.
